If you’re already using Canva and want to move beyond the basics, Canva Boost 102 is designed to help you work more confidently, consistently, and efficiently.

Community groups, trusts, clubs, and boards often rely on the same people to create everything — social media posts, flyers, newsletters, reports, presentations, and more. This next-level workshop focuses on helping you get organised in Canva, strengthen your visual identity, and save time while producing polished, professional designs.

In this hands-on session, we’ll build on what you already know and explore how to:

• Create more consistent designs using colours, fonts, and styles

• Set up and use Brand Kits (including logos, colours, and fonts)

• Resize designs for different platforms without starting from scratch

• Work with layouts, alignment, and spacing to improve visual clarity

• Use folders to organise your designs and templates

• Edit and reuse designs efficiently for ongoing communications

• and heaps more!

By the end of the workshop, you’ll feel more confident using Canva as a time-saving tool, not just a design tool, and you’ll leave with practical templates and systems you can keep using long after the session ends.

• Those who’ve attended Canva Basics (or have equivalent experience)

For this workshop, we’ll be working with Canva Pro features. If your organisation already uses Canva Pro or Canva for Nonprofits, please ensure you can log in on the day.

If you don’t have Canva Pro yet, you can apply for Canva for Nonprofits or use a free trial — giving you the chance to explore the features and see if they work for your organisation.

What to bring:

• A laptop or tablet device

• Your Canva login (We will be using CanvaPro features during this workshop)

• Your organisation’s logo, colours, or brand assets (if you have them)

• Ideas for designs you regularly create or want to improve
