Strategic Planning That Works

Is your strategic plan clear, current and genuinely useful?

This practical two-hour workshop will explore the essentials of a good strategic plan and how it connects with your organisation’s constitution, annual planning, funding and reporting.

Through examples, discussion and peer learning, we’ll cover:

• what a useful strategic plan should include

• connecting your purpose with clear priorities and outcomes

• aligning strategy with annual plans, funding and reporting

• keeping your plan realistic, relevant and easy to use

Bring your current strategic plan—or an unfinished draft—so you can reflect on what is working, identify any gaps and learn from other community organisations.

Please also bring your constitution or trust deed if available. Organisations without a current strategic plan are welcome.
