There are lots of things to know and do to be a successful community group. The Wheelhouse offers a range of training and development opportunities that you can find here.

Regrettably, registration fees cannot be refunded when cancellations are received within two working days prior to any Wheelhouse event or a registered participant does not attend.

What Responsibilites does an organisation have towards volunteers?

The Wheelhouse in partnership with Volunteering New Plymouth bring you his FREE interactive session delivered by Angela Solomons of  Taranaki Community Law .  The session will cover issues such as:

  • Volunteer and client privacy, 
  • Health and safety at work, 
  • ACC 
  • Discrimination.  

Make sure you and your volunteers are clear about what their rights and responsibilities actually are.
