Shoot. Edit. Publish. All from your phone.

Running a community group, trust, club, or small business often means telling your story well — online, on social media, in funding reports, and to your community.

And video? It’s one of the most powerful tools you can use.

This hands-on 4-hour workshop will show you how to confidently shoot, edit and publish short videos directly from your smartphone or tablet.

Course Agenda

What You’ll Learn

This workshop is like a year of film school in half a day (as it relates to smartphone video!).

You’ll learn how to:

  • Shoot interviews and pieces to camera

  • Capture strong supporting visuals (b-roll & cutaways)

  • Improve audio and lighting using simple techniques

  • Edit professionally using free apps

  • Add titles, text, graphics, music & voiceover

  • Publish to YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram or TikTok

  • Create achievable video goals you can implement immediately

The skills you learn are transferable — you might choose to keep editing on your phone or move to laptop/desktop editing later.

Who This Is For

  • Community organisations

  • Charities & trusts

  • Board members

  • Marketing volunteers

  • Small businesses

  • Anyone wanting practical video skills

No experience required.
